At times the Maryland Chapter offers scholarships for eligible members who wish to take the ACFE test and attain their CFE designation. If a scholarship will be provided during the year it will be announced on our web site. In years past, the following were the requirements for eligibility and the process involved.
The Robert Hauf CFE Exam Scholarship
The Maryland Chapter will offer scholarships (cost of study materials and exam) for eligible chapter members to study and sit for the Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) exam. In honor of the Maryland's former vice president and long-time board member, the scholarship is designated as The Robert Hauf CFE Exam Scholarship. The Robert Hauf CFE Exam Scholarship will provide the study materials needed and fees associated with the initial exam (approximate value of $1,374). To be considered for this scholarship, the applicant must be eligible to apply for the ACFE exam as outlined on the website for the national association (www.acfe.com).
